 Welcome to the Western Australia Chin Woo Athletic Association website. We are a non-profit association located in Perth, Australia. Our activities are focused on spreading Wushu (both contemporary and traditional), Tai Chi and Chinese cultural activities such as Dragon Dance and Lion Dance to the community. 2009 10th World Wushu Championships - Toronto, Canada |

Australia sent a team to compete at the 10th World Wushu Championships held in Toronto, Canada in October 2009. Of the ten athletes representing Australia, six were from Western Australia Chin Woo Athletic Association. The team received phenomenal results! Below is a recollection of one of the athletes' experience in Toronto.

Western Australia Chin Woo Dragon and Lion Dance Troupe performed at the 2009 Chinese National Day Dinner at the Perth Convention Centre on 22 September, 2009. Hosted by both the Australia Chinese Business Council WA and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Australia (Perth Branch), it celebrates the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

On Saturday 26th September 2009, Western Australia Chin Woo held a Food Fair in conjunction with the Mid Autumn Festival celebrations. There were all kinds of food on sale, which were kindly donated by the parents of our students, to raise funds for our school.
